I just wanted to say how great it is to have a link to my hometown. My husband and I had the chance this last Fall to visit the town. It was great. Many things have changed (name the ICRR Station); but much is just as it was. The town looks alive and well. Keep up the good work.

I would like to take a moment to say how very pleased I have been with the support given me by Chris. As a former Homewood resident (1956-1973), I wanted to take advantage of the new website. When I tried to enter the alumni database after registering, I couldn't. I sent an email to the Webmaster and Chris promptly replied. Over the next week we tried strategy after strategy to overcome this problem (which was not a common one). We finally succeeded. There was no quit in Chris, who was not going to let the matter drop until it was resolved. Chris does not know me and really went the extra mile in customer service to help me. In a time when so many of our relationships are impersonal or based on "What's in it for me?", I was touched by Chris' perseverance and good humor throughout. I think that the Internet just got a little warmer - and it's from good feelings not clogged bandwidth or short tempers.

I must commend you on two things. The first is that you changed your web site and that is wonderful. The second is that you responded and I should say that you responded very quickly. God Bless you for that. I very rarely send comments to web sites anymore because if I do I get a general response back and I believe that no one ever reads the response. We are in the process of moving back to Orland Park from Tampa Florida. We moved there in 1998 and are now back in Orland. We were married in Homewood Flossmoor at Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church and I was looking at you web site in order that we could attend Mass with our Children and show them the Church. I thank you for you quick efforts and you follow up. Thanks again and please have a happy and healthy holiday season.
